Nelle diverse Mappe che compongono il percorso della danza dei 5 Ritmi ®, God, Sex and the Body è un iniziazione a diventare un anima incarnata: un viaggio che ti chiama ad espandere la tua immaginazione con innocenza e avventurarti nei vari archetipi maschili e femminili.Vivrai e indosserai le caratteristiche dei diversi archetipi in un rituale teatrale, entrandoci e dando loro espressione. Un'esperienza che può liberarci ed essere di ispirazione per spiccare un pò di più nella nostra integrità e sentire il fascino degli altri e del mistero del tutto.Una chance per il nostro se appassionato per uscire dai vecchi condizionamenti e restrizioni che la famiglia, la cultura o la religione hanno imposto, ridando all'anima vitalità e individualità.

Io sono cresciuta in un periodo di lotta dei sessi, che metteva in discussione il patriarcato, come lo è adesso in una nuova ondata, non c'era molta armonia tra i sessi intorno a me, ma in ogni caso i miei genitori mi hanno chiamata Alex e io adoro quella sensazione di potermi connettere ad entrambe.
Il mio sé creativo mi ha sempre indicato la strada, trovando sollievo e libertà nel danzare e disegnare e anche se il mio mezzo è il corpo usare l'immaginazione e scolpire ciò che è mistero mi hanno sempre attratto altrettanto.Voglio tutto- nessuna divisione tra spirito e carne, tra il mascolino e il femminile dentro di noi –l'archetipo dell'amante per provare desiderio e trovare la bellezza in molti momenti, il ricercatore per la connessione spontanea all'ispirazione e alla devozione, l'artista per creare e curarmi della vita piena di queste ricchezze.Ho danzato God, Sex and the Body con Gabrielle Roth molte volte e ho danzato e co- insegnato con Jonathan negli ultimi 2 anni, scoprendo ogni volta nuova energia, nuove domande, e nuovi tesori . Sono così grata e felicissima di essere ora io stessa in questo percorso di insegnamento... e un workshop che prevede un party nella struttura è proprio perfetto per me ! Alex Mackay


 Alex Mackay
Danzatrice e artista insegna a livello internazionale i livelli Waves, Heartbeat e God Sex and the Body. Alex ha iniziato a danzare i 5ritmi a 22 anni, e su indicazione di Gabrielle Roth ha potuto subito insegnare, G. Roth aveva come spirito guida il Corvo (Raven) e la chiamava Raven Sister. Vive in Galles e ha dato vita a fiorenti comunità di danzatori in Inghilterra. E' nota per il suo insegnamento leggero e profondo, ama danzare insieme al gruppo, usa poche parole scelte con cura ispirando un senso di meraviglia e magia.Per 25 anni ho osservato Alex Mackay dedita ad assimilare le mappe del Mandala dei 5Ritmi. La volontà, nell'impegno della sua pratica, di continuare ad andare avanti, esplorare e vedere se stessa attraverso la profonda consapevolezza dei suoi ritmi. Nell'insegnamento ho osservato la sua giocosità lirica donata con mistero, creatività e maturità . Il mio rispetto è diventato sempre più profondo durante la nostra cooperazione nel creare insieme il nostro God Sex and the Body , per Alex come presenza incarnata metamorfica -- un anima che danza senza attaccamenti e con l'intenzione di portare alla luce l'unicità e l'equilibrio di nutrimento e azione, incanto e avventura, intuito e integrità .Jonathan Horan

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms® G.S.B. Workshop is the empowering of the masculine and feminine archetypes that permits us to reach our full potential as men and women. Here we learn the Maps of the soul.

In the series of maps that comprise the dancing path of the 5Rhythms®, God, Sex and the Body is an initiation into being an embodied soul. It is a deeply personal journey, a celebration like no other, a ritual for the hot and holy you.

This journey is a call to stretch our imaginations with a long forgotten innocence and move through a spectrum of feminine and masculine archetypes, to dress up these characters in a ritual theatre, get inside them and give them expression. No one else can be a man or woman exactly like you. No one else can embody your soul, or project your magic or have your specific curiosity. Part lover, part artist, part god, we were born to rock the world and feel our way into each other’s hearts.

Grounded in the 5Rhythms Movement practice, this experience can liberate and inspire us to emerge a bit more fascinated with each other and the mystery of it all. A chance for the soulful self to rise up past conditioning and the restrictions that family, culture or religion imposed, bringing vitality and individuality to each unique soul.

"I grew up at a time of the battle of the sexes, patriarchy being questioned as it is in a new wave now, not exactly harmonious between the masculine and feminine around me, but my parents were going to call me Alex either way and I love that feeling that I can connect to both.
My creative self always led the way, finding relief and freedom when dancing and drawing - and although the body is my medium, using imagination and sculpting the mysterious have always attracted me just as much. I want it all - no divide between spirit and flesh, between the masculine and feminine within.. the lover to have desire and find beauty in many moments, the seeker to naturally connect to inspiration and devotion, the artist to design and take care of a life full of these riches.
I danced God, Sex and the Body with Gabrielle many times and have danced and co-taught with Jonathan for the last 2 years, finding new energy, questions and treasure each time. .
