Nella serie di mappe che compongono il percorso della danza dei 5Ritmi, God, Sex and the Body è un'iniziazione all'incarnazione dell’anima. Un viaggio profondamente personale, una celebrazione senza pari, un rituale del tuo Io più sexy e sacro. Questo viaggio è un invito a dilatare la nostra immaginazione verso un'innocenza dimenticata a lungo, spostandoci in una gamma di archetipi femminili e maschili, per indossarli, penetrarli e dar loro espressione. Nessun altro può essere esattamente come te. Nessun altro può incarnare la tua anima, manifestare la tua magia o avere la tua stessa curiosità. In parte amanti, in parte artisti, in parte divini, siamo nati per scuotere il mondo e farci strada nel cuore l'uno dell'altro.Fondata sulla pratica del movimento dei 5Ritmi, questa esperienza può liberarci e ispirarci a ritrovarci un po' più affascinati l'uno dall'altro e dal mistero che li circonda.

Alex ha iniziato a insegnare i 5Ritmi negli anni '90 a Manchester e Liverpool. Ora offre workshop e ritiri a livello internazionale. Gabrielle Roth la chiamava "Raven Sister". È nota per la luce e la profondità del suo insegnamento, per le poche parole ben scelte e per la capacità di creare un senso di meraviglia. IL RITIRO
Il Centro Ritiri Le Case è una tenuta di campagna immersa nella splendida cornice del Parco Naturale del Monte Subasio, tra ruscelli e boschi, fattorie e campi biologici. La struttura si trova in un antico borgo agricolo, completamente ristrutturato. Le Case offre camere incantevoli, ampie zone relax interne ed esterne, terrazze, una piscina... il tutto immerso tra ulivi e vigneti, circondato da una natura rigogliosa. I numerosi sentieri escursionistici nei pressi della tenuta invitano a esplorare i meravigliosi ponti, gli stagni e i campi circostanti.
C'è ampio spazio per stare in solitudine o in compagnia, per esplorare gli archetipi dentro e fuori la danza.
Sullo sfondo, la città medievale di Assisi con la sua ricca storia e le sue bellezze architettoniche, come la Basilica di San Francesco o la Basilica di Santa Chiara e la loro straordinaria varietà di affreschi e dipinti.

In the series of maps that comprise the dancing path of the 5Rhythms®, God, Sex and the Body is an initiation into being an embodied soul. It is a deeply personal journey, a celebration like no other, a ritual for the hot and holy you.

This journey is a call to stretch our imaginations with a long forgotten innocence and move through a spectrum of feminine and masculine archetypes, to dress them up, get inside them and give them expression. No one else can be exactly like you. No one else can embody your soul, or project your magic or have your specific curiosity. Part lover, part artist, part god, we were born to rock the world and feel our way into each other’s hearts.

Grounded in the 5Rhythms movement practice, this experience can liberate and inspire us to emerge a bit more fascinated with each other and the mystery of it all.
Alex began teaching 5Rhythms in the 1990's in Manchester and Liverpool, and now offers workshops and retreats internationally. Gabrielle Roth called her Raven Sister. About the residential
RETREAT VENUE
Le Case Retreat Center is a country estate immersed in the splendid setting of the Monte Subasio Natural Park, among streams and woods, farms and organic fields. The venue is located in an ancient agricultural village, which has been completely renovated. Le Case offers delightful rooms, large indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, terraces, a swimming pool…all nestled between olive trees and vineyards, surrounded by lush nature. The many walking trails close to the estate invite you to explore the wonderful bridges, ponds, and fields nearby.
There is plenty of space to be in solitude or in community to explore the archetypes on and off the dancefloor. The medieval town of Assisi, framed by the long, undulating hills and forests of Umbria, is a recognized UNESCO World Heritage site, is famous for being the birthplace to saint Francesco d’Assisi and it’s historical role in spreading the Franciscan Order. The town has been a spiritual place of pilgrimage since the 13th century and is one of the most stunning medieval towns in Italy. We recommend discovering some of the rich history and architectural beauty, such as the Basilica di San Francesco, or the Basilica di Santa Chiara with their remarkable array of frescoes and paintings.

The retreat venue Le Case offers different types of rooms. All are equipped with early 1900s period furniture, sober and elegant, giving a touch of authenticity. They enjoy a panoramic view of the valleys and the surrounding garden. Each room has a delightful tea corner.

FOOD
The full-board stay includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at Le Case.
The venue prides itself with using a high percentage of organic products, many of which come from their own production.
The food will include tasty dishes typical of the Umbrian tradition.

TRANSPORTATION
Train
The closest train station is Assisi station, which is connected to many local, regional and high speed trains. From here, you can get a shuttle taxi to the retreat center.
Airports
Perugia - Firenze - Roma - Assisi
From Assisi station, a taxi is available to the retreat center, also to share.
Car
Le Case is a 12km / 20 minute drive from the center of Assisi.
You can arrive to the venue by car, there is a car park available.
GOOD TO KNOW
Language of instruction
The workshop is held in English with translation into Italian.
Prerequisites
A minimum of 15 hours of Waves-level practice with a certified 5Rhythms teacher.
Accreditation
Alex Mackay is member of the 5Rhythms Teacher Association (5RTA) and this workshop counts as God Sex and the Body Level prerequisites towards the 5Rhythms teacher training.
